LumenLink Dashboard Module

Page/Section: Module-Dashboard-Overview

The Dashboard is accessible from the left navigation under Dashboard, directly below Homepage. It provides a visual, analytics-focused summary of the current project, combining KPI tiles, charts, and quick navigation links into underlying modules. All tiles and most charts are interactive, allowing users to drill down into detailed data views.

The Dashboard is primarily read-only but highly navigable. Clicking on tiles opens the corresponding detail pages (such as Transmissions, Connections, Resources, or Adapters) with relevant filters already applied.

KPI Tiles

Page/Section: Module-Dashboard-KPIs

At the top of the Dashboard, a row of colored KPI tiles displays high-level statistics:

  • Total Transmissions
  • Success Count
  • Failure Count
  • Total Connections
  • Total Resources
  • Total Adapters

Each tile shows a numeric value and label and is clickable:

  • Success Count: Opens the Transmissions page and automatically filters records to show only successful transmissions.
  • Failure Count: Opens the Transmissions page with a predefined filter that shows only failed transmissions.
  • Total Transmissions: Opens the Transmissions listing without restricting status, showing all executions.
  • Total Connections: Opens the Connections module, listing all configured connections.
  • Total Resources: Opens the Resources module, listing resources available in the project.
  • Total Adapters: Opens the Adapters page, listing available adapters with their status.

These tiles serve as both high-level KPIs and quick navigation shortcuts.

Overview Chart Section

Page/Section: Module-Dashboard-Overview-Chart

Beneath the KPI tiles, the Overview section presents aggregated data in chart and table form. Key elements include:

  • A Filter dropdown to restrict the dataset (for example, all categories or specific types).
  • A Chart Type dropdown allowing users to switch between visualizations such as Bar or other chart styles.
  • A main chart area that plots metrics such as resource counts or connection counts by category and subtype.
  • A detailed table on the right with columns like Category, Sub-Type, and Count, providing the underlying data used to build the chart.

On the top-right of the Overview table, a Download button opens a small menu with export options:

  • Download PNG: Exports the chart and/or table as an image.
  • Download CSV: Exports the underlying data in CSV format for offline analysis.

Pagination controls appear below the table when the dataset spans multiple pages.

Detailed Charts

Page/Section: Module-Dashboard-Detail-Charts

Further down the Dashboard, additional charts break down key metrics into specialized visualizations. Typical charts include:

  • Resources Stack Chart: Shows distribution of resource types (for example, workflow files versus text files) in a stacked bar chart format.
  • Transmission Status Chart: A pie chart summarizing the proportion of IN_PROGRESS, SUCCESS, and other transmission statuses.
  • Connection Status Chart: A donut or pie chart showing the breakdown of connections by type or status (for example, REST, REST_INBOUND, SFTP).
  • Adapter Stack Chart: Displays statistics on adapters, including cases where there are currently 0 adapters configured.

These charts provide at-a-glance views of platform health and configuration. When available, clicking on chart segments can be configured to open the relevant listing pages with pre-applied filters matching the selected category or status.

Drill-Down Pages Triggered From Dashboard

Page/Section: Module-Dashboard-Drilldown-Behavior

Several Dashboard interactions navigate users directly to detailed pages:

  • Clicking Success Count or Failure Count tiles opens the Transmissions screen with the Status column pre-filtered to SUCCESS or FAILURE respectively.
  • Clicking Total Transmissions opens the Transmissions list without status filters but preserves other default filters such as date range.
  • Clicking Total Connections opens the Connections module’s list view, where users can further filter or edit individual connections.
  • Clicking Total Resources opens the Resources list with standard filters like Resource Name, Resource ID, Type, Modified Date, and Modified By.
  • Clicking Total Adapters opens the Adapters page, which includes its own actions toolbar and filters such as Id, Name, Type, Description, and Status.

These drill-down behaviors make the Dashboard the central starting point for operations monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration review.
