LumenLink Homepage Module

Page/Section: Module-Homepage-Overview

The Homepage is the default landing screen for a project in LumenLink. It is accessible from the left navigation under Homepage and gives a summarized view of the project’s activity and quick access to core modules. The layout combines a personalized welcome card, primary action buttons, KPI tiles, and module shortcut cards.

The page is read-only from a data perspective but highly interactive from a navigation perspective. Users can start new work, import data, and jump into specific modules directly from this screen without going through intermediate menus.

Welcome Card

At the top of the Homepage, a large welcome card displays a friendly greeting including the logged-in user’s name. The subtext introduces LumenLink as an automation platform built for data, logic, and connectivity. This card helps users confirm they are in the correct domain and profile and provides context for the rest of the dashboard.

The welcome card does not contain configuration fields; it is fully driven by the logged-in session and environment. Any changes to the user profile or display name are reflected here automatically.

Primary Actions

Beneath the welcome card, two prominent buttons expose the most common starting points for users:

  • New Workflow
  • Import Data

The New Workflow button opens the workflow creation flow, allowing users to define new integration or automation workflows for the project. The Import Data button initiates data-loading operations such as uploading files or ingesting external data into the platform. Both buttons navigate away from the Homepage into their respective modules or wizards.

These actions are always visible on the Homepage, giving users a single-click path to building or extending automations.

Summary KPI Tiles

In the central section of the page, the Homepage shows small KPI tiles summarizing project activity. Typical tiles include:

  • Workflows: Total number of workflows configured in the project.
  • Connections: Total number of active or defined connections.
  • Executions Today: Total transactions processed today across workflows and integrations.

Each tile displays a numeric value and a short label. Values update as workflows and connections are added or as executions occur during the day. The tiles are informational only and are not typically clickable, but they give users an immediate sense of project scale and current processing volume.

Module Shortcut Cards

At the bottom of the Homepage, a set of module cards provides direct navigation into key areas of LumenLink. Standard cards include:

  • Transmission: Opens the Transmission module to track and monitor data pipeline executions in real time.
  • Connections: Opens the Connection module to manage database, API, and file connections.
  • Code Editor: Opens the code editor for building and testing Groovy-based or logic-flow integrations.
  • Run Workflow: Opens the interface to manually trigger or run saved workflows.
  • Resources: Opens the resources area for managing uploaded files, scripts, and external data sources.

Each card contains a brief description and acts as a clickable entry point. These shortcuts reduce navigation steps by letting users jump straight into the relevant module from the Homepage dashboard.
